The Brief:
BuzzFeed News launched PROFILE, a weekly long-form interview series built around in-depth conversations with major figures across entertainment, politics, business, and technology.

The Process:
As part of the BuzzFeed News design team, I helped develop the visual language for the series across show graphics and motion. The package needed to feel editorial and premium while still fitting within BuzzFeed’s digital-first identity. I worked across recurring graphic elements and animation that could scale episode to episode while maintaining a consistent look and feel.

The Outcome:

  • Motion graphics and show packaging for PROFILE
  • Recurring graphics built for a weekly interview format
  • A scalable visual system used across the series
  • Distributed across BuzzFeed News and streaming platforms
  • 2019 Emmy nomination
